Karla Black, from huge installation crumpled sugar paper and paint splattered cellophane with dusty pastel bombs of color. / by Mark Edwards

Karla Black has a sensory play in her delicate fragile sculptures. Black’s works poses a performative narrative in the way she utilises the gallery walls and floor to articulate these sensory environmental, creations. What i find thought provoking is the small abstract sculptures she made for exhibition Galleria Raffaella Cortese, via Stradella 1, via Stradella 4 & via Stradella 7 , Millan 23/11/16- 25/2/17, www.galleriarafallaellacorteses.com

The work i am currently making out of bond white paper mache twisted on finger to form a cell like structure i am anticipating will show some similarities to Kara Black’s Wouldn’t Want,2016.
